Nominated by Field Operations Area Manager Jessica Aquino, Angel Zavala is October’s aDifference in Action recipient that ALC proudly recognizes.

He is extremely even keel and is a magician when to comes to all things rhapsody — he shares his knowledge with those around him,” Aquino explained. “He inspires me to look at the positive in each situation while still addressing the root of the issue.”

1.How long have you been with ALC? What were some of your favorite moments with the company?

Started back in 2001. Seems like it was just yesterday. Some of my favorite moments – I would have to say – [have been] the different challenges that we encounter when providing transportation.

2. What do you like most about your job?

As cheesy as it sounds, we are providing transportation for the future.

3. What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

If you stay positive in a negative situation you will win. Learned that the hard way.

4. What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Besides chasing after my 2-year-old? Hanging out with my family. That can be going to a basketball, football, or soccer [event], you name it, or just simply going to the park.
